Workfront Manager

BrightWave, an Ansira company, is seeking a metaphorical Jenga champion to join in our Operations and Resource efforts. The Workfront Manager, which supports the Senior Operations Manager, is an ideal starting role for an operationally-minded individual to make a significant impact at a successful, growing ad agency.

The Workfront Manager is the liaison between the Client Services team and the Strategy, Creative and Tech teams, and will be a pro at being objective and impartial. The ideal candidate for this role is incredibly organized with impeccable attention to detail and a natural talent for problem solving and scheduling. 

The Workfront Manager will: 

  • Build and leverage strong relationships with account teams and creative, development, strategy and technical resources to ensure the optimal, balanced flow of work throughout the agency from project inception through delivery
  • Support the timely production of client deliverables by identifying future resource demands, resolving resourcing conflicts, and ensuring optimal use of BrightWave’s project management system

Additional duties include: 

  • Act as the day-to-day resident “Workfront expert”
    • Onboarding of new hires to the system
    • Reviewing resource availability 
    • Troubleshooting questions/issues
    • Auditing system for best use practices 
    • Suggesting ideas for additional trainings
    • Additional support for Senior Operations Manager as needed
  • Work closely with Delivery Team to proactively plan and address workload issues and bottlenecks
  • Attending monthly Workfront/Operations + Delivery Meetings
  • Provide support for monthly reporting initiatives 
  • Maintain accuracy of the agency’s intranet 

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workfront project management system / technical capacity to learn and take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Workfront
  • Strong working experience with G Suite (Gmail, Google Drive) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Superior client service mentality and ability, including a proactive, “do it now” attitude.
  • Team player who works with others to achieve a common goal - paired with a strong level of confidence to say “no" diplomatically
  • Detail-orientation with the ability to make sound decisions within tight deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities
  • Ability to problem-solve and support process improvement
  • Interest and ability to thrive in the fast-paced agency life
  • Must handle stress gracefully

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications: 

  • Background knowledge of agency roles and skill sets (creative, dev, tech, PMs helpful)
  • 1-2 years of experience using Workfront project management system
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
