Account Director

BrightWave, an Ansira Company, is searching far and wide for a multi-talented Account Director. This email marketing wunderkind can lead program planning and own the client relationship across multiple key agency accounts. The AD will partner with clients and internal BrightWave teams to develop goals and marketing strategies, display compelling presentation skills to sell in ideas, and will lead a cross-capability team to deliver creative thinking and solutions to exceed client objectives.

In addition to the aforementioned superhuman traits, the AD will lead the charge in managing account budgeting, including tracking against client revenue growth & forecasting, and setting expectations internally and externally through clear, direct and specific documentation & communication. The AD is also responsible for organic growth efforts and has a proven track record in maintaining and growing accounts. The AD reports to the VP, Group Account Director and will be the primary owner of the client relationship.

This person tends to always have fantastic, out-of-the-box lunch recommendations, as well. You know, the important things.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experience with accounting processes for projects - includes forecasting, scoping/billing and managing a account specific P&L
  • Experience working with creative, strategy, analytics and IT resources and a thorough understanding of related deliverables
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under ever-changing needs and schedules; handling multiple accounts at once while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proven project management skills with an understanding of processes (timeline development, trafficking, etc.) and quality assurance/control (QA/QC) protocols (this role will collaborate closely with our campaign/project management team)
  • Team leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly in both oral and written communication
  • Experience identifying growth opportunities for client projects and increasing scope of services in consideration of revenue growth goals
  • Ability to support idea generation and/or new business initiatives, when required
  • Killer PowerPoint skills and the ability to command an audience while presenting to all levels within an organization

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of client management experience with an interactive agency managing digital programs
  • Extensive understanding of email and eCRM programs
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Ability to develop team members by coaching, training, and identifying areas of growth
  • Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in related field

This role may require up to 25 - 50% travel
